Jean-Claude Vandenbosch

Jean-Claude accompanies CEO’s and Business Executives in the exercise of their leadership, in situations of transition, transformation and change.  His areas of expertise include: Strategic Planning & Implementation, Commercial/Channel Strategy Definition & Implementation, Product/Service Portfolio Development & Marketing, Operational Management, Process & Project Management, Organizational Development, M&A & Divestment, Executive Assessment, Governance, Reporting & Control.  He works as Consultant, Member of Advisory Boards & Board of Directors.  His missions are in Benelux, France and USA, where he previously held managerial positions.  He speaks French, Dutch and English.

Jean-Claude has a 24 years General Management experience, as CEO of Getronics BeLux  – ICT Services et Solutions Provider (2004-2013), of Belgacom Wireline – Fixed Line Operator (2001-2004), of KPN Orange – today BASE, 3rd Mobile Operator (1999-2001) and of Hewlett Packard BeLux – Information Products and Systems, Test and Measure Systems, Medical Devices, Chemical Analysis Devices, Electronic Components, today HP (1989-1999).

Jean-Claude is member of the Advisory Board of Brussels Airlines and of SBSEM (Solvay Brussels School of Management & Economics) and was member of the Advisory Board of SAP BeLux.  He is Director of BECI (Brussels Enterprise Commerce and Industry) and of EPM (École de Perfectionnement en Management) and he was Director and Chairman of the Board of the subsidiaries of the companies that he led.

Doctor in Science at the Free University of Brussels (1978), having Postgraduates in Management at the SBSEM (1983), at INSEAD (1991) and the London Business School (1994), Jean-Claude has been elected in 2011 as Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium, Class Technology and Society and he is external teacher at the Solvay Brussels School of Management and Economics since 2004.

Jean-Claude was knighted by the Belgian King into "The Order of Leopold" in the Kingdom of Belgium in 2013 for his contributions to our country.
